Process Additive

Paper industry

Scale inhibitor Chemicals used to control scale. They function by holding up the precipitation process and/or distorting the crystal shape, thus preventing the build-up of a hard adherent scale.

Textile industry

Mildew proofing agent ( Kathon;Benzoic Acid ). Inhibits mold spores germination and reproduction which could deteriorate the strength of the pulp fiber and reduce the appearance quality of the pulp board.
Dispersing agent

A dispersant is either a non-surface-active polymer or a surface-active substance added to a suspension, usually a colloid, to improve the separation of particles and to prevent settling or clumping. Dispersants consist normally of one or more surfactants.
